Art emerges from places.

Ricardo Bueno is a Portuguese artist whose practice moves through visual art, theatre, performance, cinema, education and sound.

His work often begins with what is already present: the architecture of an exhibition space, materials found on site, a social situation, a dramatic text or a collaboration. Rather than separating disciplines, he lets one form become another — a performance can produce a film, a building can become material, and an encounter can become an artwork.
